Landscape Construction Foreman

Responsibilities include overseeing the construction of outdoor spaces, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring staff observe safety guidelines and protocols, and completing various administrative duties. Supervise the installation of hardscapes. Supervise the installation of water features, such as ornamental ponds, waterfalls and fountains.

Landscape Construction Position

Create or refurbish outdoor spaces by planting trees, flowers, lawns and shrubs, and constructing hard landscaping features, such as paths. Provide services to residential and commercial customers in homes, office buildings, shopping malls, hotels and public areas.

Landscape Maintenance Foreman

Oversees maintenance run. On a weekly basis, the foreman and his crew perform lawn maintenance. The foreman’s primary function may be supervisory although he may need to work alongside his crew to complete projects.

Landscape Maintenance Position

Performs regular and directed grounds and landscape maintenance by mowing lawns with riding or push mowers; trimming and edging around trees, shrubs, ground cover, flowers, sidewalks and buildings; weeding, thinning and cleaning flower beds and other grounds by hand or utilizing proper tools and equipment.

Irrigation Specialists

Performs installation, maintenance and repair of irrigation systems. Operate power equipment and hand tools to install, maintain and repair irrigation systems and related components including irrigation lines, sprinkler heads, control panels, valves, pumps, etc.

Landscape Designer/Estimator

Responsible for producing accurate and timely bid estimates for landscape construction division. Primary focus on estimates for landscape construction contracts, but also work may be on landscape, irrigation, lighting and hardscape projects. Develop landscape designs by working directly with client.
